Terms and conditions
Short, and written in the same voice as the rest of the site.
This is the official product-information site for CogniMary, operated by Gocognimary. It publishes information and links to a checkout; the purchase contract is formed at that checkout under the terms shown there.
Nothing here is medical advice. Where this site and the checkout disagree on price, packs or the guarantee term, the checkout is correct.
What this site is, in contract terms
Plainly: this is the official product-information site for CogniMary, operated by Gocognimary as usa authorized cognimary retailer. It publishes information and links to a checkout. The purchase contract itself is formed at that checkout, under the terms shown there.
- Information here is not medical advice. Nothing on this site diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any disease, and none of it has been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.
- Where we cite a study, we are describing that study, not promising the same outcome from this product. The two are different claims and we try never to blur them.
- Where a fact is not published, we say so rather than filling the gap. A page that says “not published” is doing that on purpose.
- Prices, packs and the guarantee term are decided at checkout, not here. Where the two ever disagree, the checkout is correct.
If you spot something on this site that is wrong, out of date or unsupported, tell us at [email protected]. Corrections get made and the change date at the top of the page moves.
Using this site
The short version: read it, quote it, link to it, argue with it. Do not pretend you wrote it and do not attack the servers.
- You may
- Read, print and share these pages; quote them with attribution and a link; cite our reasoning in your own writing, including to disagree with it.
- You may not
- Republish pages wholesale as your own, scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other readers, or reuse the brand name, artwork or product photography to sell or market anything.
- Third-party links
- Some pages link outward, mostly to sources. Those sites have their own terms and their own privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement of anything else on the site it points at.
- Availability
- We aim to keep this site up and accurate. We cannot promise it is never down and never wrong, which is why every substantive page carries a date.
Nothing in this section limits any right you have under consumer law where you live. Where the two conflict, the law wins, and we would rather you knew that than assumed a page of terms could override it.
The transcription on this site
This site reproduces the CogniMary Supplement Facts panel as text. It is worth being explicit about what that transcription is.
- It is a faithful reproduction of the printed panel supplied to this website, including a misspelling and a botanical name that does not match its common name.
- It is not a substitute for the label on your bottle. If the two disagree, your bottle is the document that shipped and the one to follow.
- It is published so that the panel can be searched, copied and read aloud, which a photograph cannot be.
- If the manufacturer changes the formula, this transcription will lag until we are told. Check your own bottle.
The same applies to the arithmetic on the ceiling page. It is derived from the panel as printed. A different panel produces different ceilings.
Orders, prices and the checkout
Because no price is published on this site, it is worth being precise about what happens where.
| This site | The checkout |
|---|---|
| Publishes product information | Takes the order |
| Publishes no price | Shows the price, shipping and tax |
| States no guarantee length | States the guarantee term |
| Links to the checkout | Forms the contract |
| Can correct its own pages | Is the authority where the two differ |
If something at checkout contradicts something here, the checkout is right and we would like to know about the contradiction so the page can be fixed. [email protected].
Intellectual property
Three categories of material appear on this site and they are not owned by the same people.
- The brand, the product name and the artwork
- Belong to the brand owner and the distributor named on the panel. Nothing on this site grants any licence to use them.
- The writing, the arithmetic and the page design
- Ours. Quote it with attribution and a link; do not republish pages wholesale as your own.
- The cited research
- Belongs to its authors and publishers. We link to sources rather than reproducing them, and quote only short passages where the exact wording matters.
- The transcription of the panel
- A factual reproduction of a printed label. Facts are not owned by anyone, and we publish it so that it can be checked.
If you want to reuse something here and are not sure which category it falls into, ask at [email protected]. The answer is usually yes with a link.
Changes to this site
- Every substantive page carries a date. If a page has been corrected, that date has moved.
- Corrections are made in the text, not appended as footnotes, so that the page reads correctly to someone arriving fresh.
- If the label changes, the transcription changes, and so does every number derived from it, including the whole ceiling page.
- If a source is superseded, the citation is updated and the sentence that depended on it is rewritten if it needs to be.
- If we are told something we cannot verify, it does not go up.
None of that is unusual for a publication and it is unusual for a product page, which is the gap this site is trying to close.
Governing terms
This site is operated from the United States and its terms are read under US law. Your own consumer-protection rights, wherever you live, are not affected by anything on this page — where they conflict, they win.
If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still stands. That sentence appears in every terms page ever written and it is there because it is true and useful rather than because it is decorative.
Questions about anything here: [email protected].
What you agree to by using this site
Nothing much, which is the honest answer. Reading a public web page is not a contract, and this site does not ask you to accept terms before it will show you anything.
- You agree not to republish these pages as your own work or to scrape the site in a way that degrades it for other readers.
- You accept that the information here is published in good faith, carries a date, and may be superseded.
- You accept that nothing here is medical advice and that decisions about supplements alongside medication belong with a clinician.
- You accept that the purchase contract is formed at the checkout under the terms shown there, not here.
That is the whole of it. A terms page that required a reader to accept fourteen clauses before reading a product label would be telling you something about the product.
Disputes
- Contact us first: +1 (302) 200-3480 for anything about an order, [email protected] for anything about this website. Most things resolve here.
- If it does not resolve, say so in writing and say what outcome you want. A written record is what makes the next step possible.
- If you paid by card and the matter remains unresolved, your card issuer has its own dispute process. It works better when you can show you contacted the seller first.
- Your statutory consumer rights sit above all of the above and are not affected by anything on this page.
We would much rather handle a complaint than have one escalate, and a complaint we do not know about is one we cannot fix. If you have reached step three without hearing from us, that is a failure on our side worth telling us about.
Contact for anything on this page
Questions, corrections, permission requests and complaints about this website all go to [email protected]. Order matters go to the desk on +1 (302) 200-3480, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm Eastern Time. We answer both, and we would rather answer a question before a purchase than a complaint after one.
Why a terms page on a product site reads like this
Most terms pages are written to be unread. They are long, they are in the passive voice, and they are structured so that the parts a reader would care about are hardest to find.
That is a choice, and it is usually the wrong one. A terms page that nobody reads protects nobody: it does not inform the buyer, and it does not help the seller either when a dispute turns on whether something was made clear.
So this page is short, it is in plain sentences, and the parts that matter — that the checkout governs the purchase, that nothing here is medical advice, that your statutory rights sit above all of it — are at the top rather than the bottom.
If something here is unclear, that is a failure of drafting rather than a gap in your understanding, and [email protected] is the address for it.
Liability, in plain words
We publish this site carefully and we still cannot guarantee it is free of error. What we can promise is that mistakes get corrected rather than defended.
Nothing here should be relied on as medical advice, and the decision to take any supplement — particularly alongside prescription medication — belongs with you and a clinician who can see your history. The side effects page names the specific ingredients worth raising.
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the value of the order you placed. To the extent the law does not allow that, the law governs, and this sentence exists so we do not have to pretend otherwise.
